I'm Nicole. I am a mommy, wife, kitchen experimenter, copy-cat crafter, and an amateur comedian. Okay, not really a comedian,

 but just try not to take me too seriously. :)

Hunka-hunka burnin' love!

I married my knight in shining armor in 2008,

 after being friends with him for over 4 years. 

Surprisingly though, we only dated for 6 months

 before we were married. Knight is funny, smart, 

charming, kind and chivalrous. 

What more could a girl ask for?

HAD to wear her pink shoes for pictures!

Our oldest is almost three. When she was about 18 months old, she walked by a full-length mirror at a store, stopped, stared for a second, and yelled, "Mommy! Look! A princess!" It was then that I knew we were in trouble. Princess is all girl. She loves having her fingernails painted, wearing tutus, and anything pink. She's had us wrapped around her little princess-y finger since the day she was born! Read her birth story here.

Our second (also our youngest) just turned one. 

Ever since we found out he was a boy, my husband has introduced 

him as his 'stud'. And I must say, he fits the name quite well! 

Studley is 26 pounds of cuteness. He loves eating, chasing his sister,

 eating, being chased by his sister, eating, walking outside, and... eating.

Knight and I are so incredibly blessed! We face trials like any other family, but have always found joy in our journey. We always try to do what we can, where we are, with what we have. I hope you linger here and find something that inspires you to try a little harder to be a little better. 

That's my hope for this blog.
